Job summary

SingHealth is seeking a media relations specialist to drive communications strategy and counsel stakeholders across Research and Group Allied Health. You will develop strategic messages, prepare media materials, and manage media relationships to position SingHealth as a regional and international thought leader.

You will also propose story ideas, oversee production of quality materials, and engage internal stakeholders to maximise media opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Strong news sense and an established media network.
Excellent command of English; proficiency in a second language preferred.
Good grasp of new communication tools and trends.
Adept at project management and able to work independently as a team player.

Responsibilities

Drive media relations to position SingHealth as a thought leader across local and international channels.
Develop strategic messages and provide counsel to internal stakeholders on communications matters.
Prepare media materials and manage relationships with media contacts; monitor reputational risks.
Develop story concepts, produce quality materials, and seek profiling opportunities for SingHealth stakeholders.
Organise events from concept to execution and contribute to daily healthcare media reporting.
