Job summary

The Ministry of Health seeks an experienced communications leader to oversee a team delivering public-facing messaging across healthcare issues in Singapore. You will mentor staff, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate with internal divisions to shape policy communications and media relations.

You will plan media coverage for MOH events, cultivate strong media relationships, and respond to crises with clear, balanced messaging in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in communications or public relations, with 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team handling media communications across healthcare issues, including crisis communications.
• Advise divisions on media and public communications strategies and positioning of issues.
• Plan and manage media coverage for MOH-related events and facilitate media requests.
• Cultivate strong relationships with media contacts and proactively pitch stories.
