Job summary

Singtel is seeking a senior communications professional to lead media relations and corporate communications from Singapore. You will protect the company’s reputation, drive coverage across multiple media and craft clear external and internal messaging.

You will manage press events, provide counsel to partners on crisis response, and lead content creation with strong English writing and editing skills. This role reports to the VP of Group Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations and offers

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognised university in Mass Communications, Public Relations or Business.
• 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations and issues management, preferably in a listed company.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to write speeches.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proven track record in leading projects and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Protect and enhance Singtel Group’s reputation across media and digital channels.
• Drive positive media coverage across consumer, business, trade publications and social platforms.
• Create content for external and internal communications.
• Organise press briefings, media sessions, events and briefing materials.
• Counsel cross-functional teams on media engagement and crisis management.
• Monitor media and address negative publicity; manage crises with business units.
• Lead projects to achieve objectives with planning and organizational skills.
