About the job Senior MECM / SCCM Administrator
As aSenior MECM / SCCM Administrator, you will lead the administration, optimisation, and governance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) across a large‑scale, highly regulated enterprise environment. You will ensure endpoint compliance, operating system lifecycle management, software deployment, patching, platform health, and secure service delivery.
What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed
- Administer, maintain, and optimise enterprise MECM/SCCM infrastructure.
- Design and support operating system deployment solutions for Windows client and server platforms.
- Plan and execute monthly security patching, software update deployments, and vulnerability remediation.
- Package, test, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise applications using MECM and approved frameworks.
- Monitor site health and availability across Management Points, Distribution Points, and boundary groups.
Troubleshooting & Reporting
- Provide L3 troubleshooting for client health, content distribution, policy processing, patching, and task‑sequence failures.
- Produce endpoint inventory, compliance, operational‑health, and audit reports for stakeholders.
- Partner with security teams on endpoint baselines and vulnerability remediation.
Integration & Automation
- Integrate MECM with Microsoft Intune and support co‑management initiatives.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for administration, health checks, remediation, and reporting.
- Support endpoint lifecycle activities including provisioning, refresh, configuration changes, and decommissioning.
Governance & Service Management
- Coordinate incidents, problems, changes, and service requests through ServiceNow.
- Contribute to root‑cause analysis and continual service improvement.
- Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, support models, and recovery plans.
- Provide technical guidance to administrators and coordinate delivery across distributed teams.

Experience
- Overall 15 years of experience with minimumof 5 years on MECM/SCCM
- You have extensive experience administering MECM/SCCM in large enterprise environments.
- You have expert‑level knowledge of MECM/SCCM architecture, client management, software distribution, OS deployment, updates, collections, reporting, and compliance.
- You have advanced troubleshooting experience across site systems, client health, and task sequences.
- You have experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
Technical Expertise
- You are proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and remediation.
- You have experience with Microsoft Intune, co‑management, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, PKI, DNS, and network fundamentals.
- You are skilled in application packaging and deployment technologies such as MSI and PSADT.
- You have working knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure supporting MECM site systems.
- You understand endpoint security controls, vulnerability management, and audit requirements.
- You have experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and Qualys.

- You have supported globally distributed endpoint estates and cross‑regional operations teams.
