Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer, R&D (Mechanical) to lead end-to-end development of advanced mechanical components and subsystems in Singapore. You will perform rigorous analyses, drive DFSS/DFMA initiatives, and collaborate with manufacturing teams and global suppliers to deliver high-quality, manufacturable solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in mechanical engineering, CAD with SolidWorks, and hands-on feasibility testing, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics.
>10 years of experience in R&D and new product development.
Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
Knowledge in injection molding, die-casting, precision machining, surface coating/finishing and inspection methods.
Strong knowledge of product design, mechanisms, and product industrialization.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of mechanical parts, electro-mechanical subsystems, and fluidic/pneumatic mechanisms from concept through mass production.
Perform structural analysis (FEA), thermal and flow simulations to validate and optimize designs.
Plan, coordinate and execute fabrication, assembly, and evaluation builds for prototype validation.
Apply DFSS and DFMA to streamline production and reduce costs.
Author specifications, BOM management, and 2D/3D drawings; lead technical discussions with customers.
