Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Singapore seeks an Associate Director – Electrical to lead complex data centre electrical design and delivery across Asia Pacific, guiding HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators and critical power infrastructure.

You will set engineering standards, mentor senior engineers, lead client engagements from concept to commissioning, and drive regional growth with hyperscalers and operators while championing BIM and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PEB Singapore registration or progress toward it is preferred depending on scope.
• 10+ years of varied electrical engineering experience across consultancies, design firms, data centres or telco infra.
• Strong knowledge of local codes (SS, EMA) and international standards (IEC, IEEE, TIA-942).
• Membership in professional body (IES) is preferred.

Associate Director – Electrical – Singapore

Are you an electrical engineering leader ready to shape critical buildings and infrastructure for a global company? Then this role is for you.

As Associate Electrical Director you will lead complex data centre electrical design and delivery across Asia Pacific, working across some of the region’s most ambitious projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Singapore, or working towards it, depending on scope and sign off responsibilities.
• More than 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally spanning consultancies, design firms, data centre operators or telco infrastructure projects.
• Registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and standards, such as SS standards and EMA requirements, alongside international standards including IEC, IEEE and TIA-942.
• Membership with a relevant body, such as the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES), is preferred.
