Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead product development from concept to mass production. You will craft robust mechanical architectures, manage schedules, and ensure designs meet cost, quality, and timeline targets.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across EE, Firmware, Software, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams, applying GD&T, DFA/DFM, DFMEA, and Six Sigma where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years' relevant experience in mechanical design.
• Experience from concept to mass production of products.
• Knowledge of design principles and practice, including GD&T.
• Experience designing complex mechanisms and electro-mechanical components.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and/or FEA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate planning, results orientation, customer focus, creativity, problem solving with minimal supervision.
• Develop modular hardware architectures, mechanical concepts and detailed designs.
• Own schedules and deliver designs to cost, quality, and timeline targets.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers on projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing on molding, gears, sheet metal and assembly.
