Job summary

CASYENGINEERING CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to design ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing systems and manage mechanical projects.

You will collaborate with consultants, draftspersons and authorities, perform feasibility studies, calculations, tenders, and inspections under a Mechanical PE.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with design experience in ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing.
• Knowledge of Singapore standards including code of practice, Green Mark standards and fire codes.
• Certifications such as Green Mark Manager, Singapore CEM or BIM certification preferred.
• Experience in engineering consultancy, mechanical consultancy, construction or technical services.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical building services designs including ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing, and Vertical Transportation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform engineering calculations for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders to support procurement and project execution.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and authorities.
• Review engineering calculations and inspect mechanical systems for installation and operation.
• Assist with Authority submissions to secure approvals and collaborate with draftsmen on drawings.
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project progress.
• Document and report project information using Microsoft Office.

Job Summary

Support engineering and consultancy activities by performing mechanical building services design, feasibility studies, project management, and inspections under the guidance of a Mechanical PE.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical building services designs including ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing, and Vertical Transportation systems to meet project requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform engineering calculations to ensure technical accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and evaluate tenders to support project procurement and execution
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely project completion and regulatory compliance
• Review and develop detailed engineering calculations for mechanical systems
• Conduct inspections of mechanical systems to verify installation and operational standards
• Assist the Mechanical PE with Authority submissions to secure necessary approvals
• Collaborate with draftspersons to produce accurate engineering drawings
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve issues
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications to document and report project information

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant design experience in ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing systems
• Knowledge of Singapore standards including code of practice, Green Mark standards, and fire codes relevant to the building industry
• Professional certifications such as Green Mark Manager, Singapore Certified Energy Manager, or BIM certification
• Experience working in engineering consultancy, mechanical consultancy, construction, or technical services environments
