Job summary

coens energy pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead the planning and design of mechanical works for building services and infrastructure, delivering technically robust solutions for clients.

You will review reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications, supervise installation, testing and commissioning, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure quality, compliance, and timely project delivery on major developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services and infrastructure.
• Experience in a consulting firm with major development projects.
• Familiar with local codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Strong planning, organizational and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of Mechanical engineering works for building services and infrastructure.
• Review reports, specifications, calculations, drawings, and other documents for different stages of a project.

• Responsible for leading the planning and design of Mechanical engineering works for building services and infrastructure works.
• Review reports, specifications, calculations, drawings, and other documents prepared for the different stages of a project.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical engineering works.
• Work together with other disciplines in feasibility studies and design, as well as to ensure excellent service delivery to Clients.
• Correspond with project experience acquired and individual competency in technical knowledge/skills, project management, and contract administration.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• Registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services and infrastructure works. Those with more than 5 years of relevant experience may considered for a Senior role.
• Good working experience in a consulting firm with a proven track record in major development projects.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Strong planning, organizational, and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit is advantageous
