Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support to the plant construction team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, Engineering Codes of Practices and DEP standards.
• Review and communicate daily/weekly schedule assignments with workforce.
• Monitor and feedback on maintenance effectiveness and take corrective action as needed.
• Update end-of-day progress of maintenance work via GSAP.
• Ensure QA/QC and condition reports are completed.
• Inform Maintenance Team Lead of risks delaying schedules and advise mitigation.

Job description

Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support to the plant construction team

Ensure compliance of mechanical engineering practices and assets with statutory obligations, Engineering Codes of Practices and company DEP (Design Engineering Practice) standards.

Review and communicate daily / weekly schedule assignments with workforce; ensure safe and efficient completion of assigned work.

Monitor and feedback on the maintenance effectiveness process and take corrective action if required

Perform update on end of day progress of various scheduled maintenance work via GSAP

Ensure completion of QA/QC and condition reports

Ensure Maintenance Team Lead is informed of identified risks for not achieving schedule and advice on mitigating action.

Competent with P&ID and PFD

Perform shutdown management (both planned and unplanned - planning, preparation & execution to achieve targets on duration, cost and safety

Execute plant changes and minor projects to ensure it meets HSSE requirement, budget and schedule.
