Job summary

PSV ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a maintenance-focused mechanical engineer to support plant construction teams in Singapore. The role emphasizes compliance with codes, DEP standards, and daily progress communication to ensure on-time execution.

Key duties include reviewing schedules with the workforce, monitoring maintenance effectiveness, and delivering QA/QC reports. Experience with P&ID/PFD is advantageous for timely shutdowns and modifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering support for plant construction projects.
• Familiar with statutory obligations and engineering practices.
• Ability to communicate progress and risks to the team on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support to the plant construction team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, Engineering Codes of Practices and DEP standards.
• Review and communicate daily/weekly schedule assignments with workforce.
• Monitor and feedback on maintenance effectiveness and take corrective action as needed.
• Update end-of-day progress of maintenance work via GSAP.
• Ensure QA/QC and condition reports are completed.
• Inform Maintenance Team Lead of risks delaying schedules and advise mitigation.
