GOLDMAN SACHS SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Risk professional to identify, monitor and manage market and non-financial risks for the Singapore business.

You will work with cross-functional teams to assess risk, perform stress tests, and support risk appetite alignment. The ideal candidate has a strong finance background, familiarity with derivatives, and the ability to communicate complex information to senior management.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record in Finance/Economics or related quantitative field.
• Understanding of financial products (derivatives/Greeks) is desirable.
• Experience with coding is a plus and collaboration across teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate market risk taking behavior and influence outcomes through portfolio and transaction level risk analysis.
• Understand factors and events that could impact financial markets and analyze their impact on portfolios.
• Perform proactive ad hoc stress tests ahead of notable market events.
• Escalate issues promptly to senior management.
• Lead the implementation of new risk measures and improvements to existing measures.
• Review and challenge risk taking activities while engaging with traders and bankers.
• Monitor adherence to risk limits and communicate material risks to senior management.
• Sign off on the Market Risk approval process for new products traded by the businesses.
• Operate at the intersection of risk appetite and business conduct.
• Improve commercial impact and performance within a robust control environment.
