Job summary

ADECCO Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Market Risk systems program in Singapore. You will own functional knowledge of VaR, PnL, and risk consolidation, coordinating with Front Office, Risk Managers and IT stake- holders.

Strong SQL, data modelling and experience with JIRA user stories are required. The role emphasizes regulatory reporting alignment with Basel III/IV and CRR/EBA frameworks, with a focus on data-driven decision support in a banking context.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years as Senior Business Analyst in Market Risk with VaR/IRC/PnL experience.
• Strong SQL and data modelling, ad hoc data analysis and impact simulations.
• Experience bridging Front Office, Risk Managers and IT teams as a functional contact.
• FRTB Basel III/IV and CRR/EBA regulatory framework knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain deep functional knowledge of Market Risk applications.
• Gather, clarify, and document business requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyze functional impact with technical lead, considering constraints.
• Prepare and document specifications and user stories in JIRA.
• Support development on functional matters and keep docs up-to-date.
• Understand risk consolidation, regulatory reporting and data management workflows.
