The development team is a world class technology group in Standard Chartered bank to provide technical solutions to support the bank’s Financial Markets business as well as support requirements from other projects with a wider scope such as regulatory books of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar.
• 5+ years hands-on development experience in banking/finance IT.
• Strong Java development in a high-concurrency environment.
• Backend service design, APIs and distributed systems experience.
• Knowledge of relational DBs and time-series data patterns.

Responsabilités

• Work with Development/Project managers to deliver Java components to internal users.
• Demonstrate architectural and design discipline with robust, well-tested code.
• Write high-quality code with substantial test coverage.
• Drive requirements and development as a self-starter.
• Design scalable, bank-standard backend solutions.
• Coordinate with Technology teams; maintain system docs.
• Provide second-line support during production issues.
