Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking an experienced trade finance professional in Singapore to oversee LC, collections, guarantees, and standby LC activities. You will verify shipping documents, coordinate lodgements, and monitor facilities and costs across teams including Compliance and Legal.

The role requires 5+ years in trade finance within the maritime sector, strong stakeholder coordination, and high attention to detail. Singapore-based, permanent position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant trade finance experience in the maritime industry.
• Familiarity with AML, sanctions, banking relationships and time-sensitive documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees, and standby LC.
• Examine trade and shipping documents for accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate lodgement of trade finance applications, amendments and drawdowns.
• Detect discrepancies and resolve issues with relevant parties promptly.
• Track facilities, utilisation, limits, maturity, fees and records.
• Collaborate with banks and internal teams to support transactions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
