Job summary

AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Underwriter to independently underwrite risks and structure complex programs received from Key Broker Partners.

You will maintain and develop Key Distribution Partnerships and manage underwriting processes in line with Marine Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite. You will also provide guidance to junior team members, assist PCM with budgeting and portfolio management, and undertake additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Marine Cargo underwriting.
• Knowledge of Marine Liability products advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple functions.
• Proficient in Windows Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite risks and structure complex programs from Key Broker Partners.
• Maintain and develop Key Distribution Partnerships.
• Manage underwriting processes per Marine Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members on technical underwriting.
• Assist PCM with budgeting and portfolio management; undertake assigned projects.
