Job summary

RTX seeks an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes and layouts for high‑throughput, low‑mix production in Singapore. You will lead process improvement initiatives, value-stream mappings, and simulation studies to forecast capacity and drive efficiency at the 1053: 9 Seletar Aerospace Link site.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and data‑analysis tools.

Qualifications

Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in high product, low mix manufacturing.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, VSM, SPC.
Experience with layout design, process engineering, or production planning preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software (FlexSim, Arena, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze product flow from raw materials to finished goods to identify constraints and inefficiencies.
Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and value-stream mapping to optimize flow.
Design and implement improved routing, scheduling, and workflow strategies to increase throughput.
Develop efficient factory layouts that reduce travel distance and improve ergonomics; lead layout redesign projects using CAD.
Build and maintain simulation models; perform data-driven analysis using Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Minitab; validate improvements.
