Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering assistant to coordinate new product releases with design engineering, estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and define tooling and process requirements. You will report to the Production Manager based in Singapore and help maintain manufacturing operations records.

Key duties include resolving production issues, applying lean techniques, identifying cost reductions, and developing manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or engineering is required.
• We prefer at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting.
• SQL, Power BI or any AI related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resolution of manufacturing process problems to maintain smooth flow of production.
• Improve processes applying lean techniques and engineering principles.
• Identify manufacturing cost reductions and productivity improvements.
• Research, develop and document our manufacturing processes.
• Load BOM and maintain routine in ERP system.
• Layout of new production lines including material flow patterns.
• Help grow the facility by ensuring seamless transfer of products from other facilities.
• Ensure seamless implementation of engineering change notices.
• Identify opportunities for and lead efforts to re-use engineering about application solutions or technologies across multiple projects.
