Job summary

Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific Business Center Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for parts and assemblies.

You will interface with design engineering to release new products and help estimate manufacturing costs and tooling needs. You will load BOMs into ERP, layout production lines, and drive productivity improvements while ensuring compliance with ISO9001/ISO14000 and Rockwell procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related technical degree.
• We prefer at least 3 years' Experience in manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, Microsoft project, Auto CAD software.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting.
• SQL, Power BI or any AI related experience

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process problems to maintain smooth flow of production.
• Improve processes applying lean techniques and engineering principles.
• Identify and implement manufacturing cost reductions and productivity improvements.
• Research, develop and document new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Correctly Load BOM and maintain routine into ERP system
• Layout of new production lines including material flow patterns.
• Support the growth of the facility by ensuring seamless transfer of products from other facilities.
• Ensure seamless implementation of engineering change notices.
• Identify opportunities for and lead efforts to re-use engineering about application solutions or technologies across multiple projects.

Job description

Develop, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of all products. Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

You will report to Production Manager based in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities:
