Job summary

Rockwell Automation Singapore seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineering assistant to coordinate new product releases, estimate costs, and set tooling and process requirements under the Production Manager. You will learn and apply lean techniques to improve efficiency and quality on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include documenting manufacturing processes, loading BOMs into ERP, and enabling seamless transfer of products between facilities while pursuing cost reductions and productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering or operations preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• SQL, Power BI or related AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing process problems to maintain smooth production flow.
• Improve processes with lean techniques and engineering principles.
• Identify cost reductions and productivity improvements.
• Research, develop and document manufacturing processes.
• Load BOM and maintain ERP data; layout new production lines.
• Assist seamless transfer of products between facilities.
• Ensure timely implementation of engineering change notices.
• Identify design changes to improve manufacturability.
