Emerson Automation Solutions Final Control Singapore Pte. Ltd.

is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead new production introductions, drive yield and process improvements, and ensure safety and quality compliance in a collaborative manufacturing environment. You will optimize workflows, manage equipment setups, develop manufacturing procedures, and support digital transformation initiatives to boost productivity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Leads and/or participates in process development, optimization, training, qualification, and validation activities for New Product or technology transfers.
Leads in yield improvement, root cause analysis to resolve product manufacturing failures & determine root cause, reduce scrap and improve quality
Improves manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, equipment layout optimization, cost reduction, process automation and digital transformation
Manages new equipment set-up and equipment improvements
Generate process equipment specifications and ensures all equipment are robustly designed for mass production particularly on safety
Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing procedures and related documentation including Risk Assessments (RA), Lockout/Tagout procedures (LOTO), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Equipment Safety Requirements (ESR) for assembly & equipment processes.
Creates and maintains Bill of Material (BOM) structure, product attributes, categories configuration, routing and any engineering related support.
