Job summary

Kerry Consulting PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to head the Compute, Storage and Platforms function within a complex IT/OT environment in Singapore.

The role emphasizes strategy, modernization, resilience, security, and operational performance for large-scale compute, storage, and database platforms. You will lead initiatives across Windows, Unix/Linux, VMware/Nutanix, AD, SAN, backup/DR and major databases (SAP, Oracle, SQL Server).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline, with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies across Windows, Unix/Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Active Directory, enterprise storage/SAN, backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases; experience supporting IT and OT environments.
• Experience overseeing cybersecurity, governance, audit requirements, and vendor/budget management; strong leadership and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Compute, Storage and Platforms technology roadmap, balancing modernization with resilience, cybersecurity, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead major infrastructure transformation initiatives including storage/server refreshes, VMware upgrades, AD modernization, data center expansion, migrations, and application infrastructure implementations.
• Drive automation, disaster recovery, business continuity, vulnerability management, and compliance across critical IT and OT environments.
• Oversee capacity/asset planning, infrastructure utilization, and CAPEX/OPEX planning, while establishing technical standards and operational procedures.

Introduction/overview

An enterprise organization in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure lead to lead the Compute, Storage and Platforms function within a complex IT/OT environment.

This senior infrastructure leadership role will be responsible for the strategy, modernization, resilience, security, and operational performance of large-scale compute, virtualisation, storage, directory services, database, backup, and recovery platforms supporting critical IT and OT systems.

Responsibilities

You will define and execute the Compute, Storage and Platforms technology roadmap, balancing platform modernization with operational resilience, cybersecurity, scalability, and cost efficiency. Your remit will span Windows and Unix/Linux platforms, enterprise storage, VMware and Nutanix virtualisation, Active Directory, SAN infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and key database technologies including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

You will lead major infrastructure transformation and lifecycle initiatives, including storage and server refreshes, VMware upgrades, AD recovery and modernization, data center expansion, infrastructure migrations, and application infrastructure implementations. A key priority will be strengthening automation, disaster recovery, business continuity, vulnerability management, and compliance across critical IT and OT environments.

Beyond technology delivery, you will oversee capacity and asset planning, infrastructure utilization and forecasting, as well as CAPEX/OPEX planning and vendor management. You will establish technical standards and operational procedures while leading and developing the team. The role will also work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects transition effectively into stable BAU operations.

Requirements

You will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with at least 12 years of relevant experience in enterprise compute, systems, and storage infrastructure, including implementation and operational responsibilities within large-scale environments.

You should bring strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies across Windows, Unix/Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Active Directory, enterprise storage/SAN, backup and disaster recovery, together with exposure to major database platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server. Experience supporting critical infrastructure across IT and OT environments would be highly relevant.

You will also have experience overseeing cybersecurity, compliance, governance, and audit requirements for critical enterprise systems, alongside a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and managing technology vendors and budgets. Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential, including the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
