Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join its global infrastructure team in Singapore. You will independently support a global environment across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, Intune, and Azure, driving automation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on L3 systems/infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and Intune.
• Practical experience managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure identity and access, Conditional Access, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity / AD Connect.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions, and a strong understanding of disaster recovery and infrastructure resilience.
• A keen interest in scripting and automation to streamline operations and repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading global organization seeking a hands-on Senior IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join its global infrastructure team in Singapore. This role suits someone with strong L3 experience and broad technical depth across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, Intune, and Azure. You will independently support a global environment, solve complex infrastructure challenges, and contribute to solutioning, automation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a senior member of the infrastructure team, you will manage and optimize core infrastructure spanning Microsoft 365 / Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Intune, Microsoft Azure, storage, and backup platforms, while providing L3 troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you will contribute to infrastructure architecture and solution design, including upgrades, migrations, new deployments, and cloud initiatives. You will identify opportunities to improve standardization, automation, performance, and operational resilience, while ensuring appropriate patching, monitoring, security, documentation, and change management practices.

You will also engage independently with global IT teams, business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors across different locations. You will provide technical recommendations, communicate risks and improvement opportunities, and contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, security, compliance, and audit activities.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on L3 systems/infrastructure engineering experience, with the technical depth to independently troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
• Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and Intune.
• Practical experience managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure identity and access, Conditional Access, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity / AD Connect.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions, together with a strong understanding of infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery.
• Good breadth across infrastructure architecture, systems design, security, monitoring, patching, vulnerability management, and root cause analysis.
• Keen interest in using scripting and automation to streamline operations and automate repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic international environment.
