Job summary

Responsibilities

• Co-lead consultancy processes for a network of resource persons to strengthen competency capabilities across the sector.
• Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans to identify best practices in supervision grounded in evidence and standards.
• Support development of materials on knowledge and skills for clinical and social work practice and supervision.
• Drive technology-enabled solutions to enhance post-training competency development and knowledge management.

What the role is:

What the role is: This role supports initiatives to enhance competency development and supervision standards, promote evidence-based practices, and foster collaborative learning networks that improve client outcomes through strengthened practitioner competency. The job holder will work closely with internal teams, community partners, professional bodies and educational institutions to support the implementation of supervision excellence across all levels of practice.We are seeking candidates with at least a good Honours degree, preferably in Social Work. Candidates with prior practitioner experience—such as caseworkers, therapists, counsellors, social workers or psychologists—will be considered, with supervisory experience in the social service sector preferred.

What you will be working on:

• (i) Co-lead in the development and implementation of comprehensive competency, supervision, and coaching frameworks for MSF and the social service sector.
• (ii) Co-lead in the implementation of consultancy processes for a network of resource persons to systematically strengthen competency capabilities across the sector.
• (iii) Conduct and collate practice research, literature reviews, and environmental scans to identify and integrate emerging best practices in supervision which are grounded in evidence, innovative and align with international standards.
• (iv) Support in the development of materials on key and emerging knowledge and skills on clinical and social work practice and supervision to systematically enhance the competencies of professionals.
• (v) Drive the development and adoption of technology-enabled solutions to enhance post-training competency development, supervision practice, knowledge management, learning transfer, and capability evaluation across MSF and the social service sector.

What we are looking for:

Technical Skills & Experiences:

• Excellent knowledge of Singapore's social service sector, including agencies, service delivery models, and professional standards
• Good understanding of evidence-based and trauma-informed supervision practices
• Experience or exposure to programme design, implementation, and evaluation
• Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and support multi-agency initiatives.
• Knowledge and basic proficiency in the use of AI and digital tools to address capability development and practice challenges
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and design applications (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)

• At least 6 to 7 years of experience as a practitioner working in the social service sector

• Interest in research and evaluation with exposure to publications, conference presentations, or thought leadership contributions in supervision, professional development, or social service practice areas
