Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Senior Manager for Managed Roaming Pre-Sales to lead the MR Pre-Sales team and translate customer requirements into scalable roaming solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Network and vendors from discovery through onboarding, driving revenue growth and time-to-launch.

The role requires expertise in 4G/5G roaming architectures, solution design, and stellar stakeholder engagement across global teams, with willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in telecommunications with 5+ years in Pre-Sales or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G roaming architectures and interfaces.

As the Manager, Managed Roaming Pre-Sales, you will lead the Managed Roaming (MR) Pre-Sales function, translating customer business and technical requirements into scalable, secure and commercially viable solutions.

You will partner with MR Business/Sales, Product, Network, IT/MVNE, Operations and vendors from discovery and solution design through proposal, technical validation and onboarding handover to accelerate revenue growth and time-to-launch.

How You will Make An Impact:

Lead and coach the MR Pre-Sales team, setting solutioning standards, priorities, quality controls and capability development.

Partner with MR Business/Sales to qualify opportunities, conduct customer discovery and shape requirements before RFI/RFP.

Own end-to-end solution architecture for Managed Roaming, MRaaS and related global travel connectivity offerings.

Lead technical RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, designs, workshops, demos, PoCs/UAT and technical due diligence.

Act as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, resolving objections and solution trade-offs to support complex deal closure.

Coordinate Product, Network, IT/MVNE, Security, Operations and vendors to validate feasibility, dependencies, effort, cost inputs and delivery plans.

Support business cases and commercial proposals with technical sizing, costing, risks and service implications.

Ensure structured handover to onboarding and Operations with clear requirements, acceptance criteria, ownership and operational readiness.

Translate customer and market feedback into reusable solution modules, automation opportunities and product/platform roadmap enhancements.

Track Pre-Sales effectiveness and capacity and represent Managed Roaming in key customer and industry engagements.

Travel internationally as required.

Skills for Success:

Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science/IT or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in telecommunications, including at least 5 years in Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering or Technical Sales.

Strong international roaming experience with team and solution leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of 4G/5G roaming architecture and interfaces, including SS7, Diameter, GTP, IPX, IMS, VoLTE/VoNR, eSIM and IMSI.

Strong solution architecture capabilities across provisioning, charging/billing, APIs and MVNE/cloud platforms.

Experience leading RFI/RFP/SoW responses, proposals, workshops, demonstrations, PoCs/UAT and technical objection handling.

Experience in technical sizing, costing and business case support.

Strong people leadership and consultative customer engagement skills.

Strong executive communication, structured problem-solving and stakeholder influencing capabilities.

Able to prioritise effectively and collaborate across global and cross-cultural teams.

Good understanding of the global roaming ecosystem, partner/vendor management, onboarding, operational handover and service assurance.

Awareness of regulatory, KYC and privacy requirements.

Willing and able to travel internationally when required.
