Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Manager for Core Banking Transformation within Financial Services. The role focuses on leading functional workstreams, shaping target-state capabilities, and delivering technology-enabled change across deposits, lending, trade finance and treasury platforms.

You will bridge banking business needs with technology delivery, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to proposals and market insights in a client-facing capacity.

Qualifications

• Min. 10+ years in banking transformation, core banking, banking technology or consulting.
• Experience in banks, consulting firms, core banking platform provider or banking technology organisation.
• Strong track record leading client-facing or internal transformation initiatives from design through implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, technology, engineering, business or banking; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
• Familiarity with leading core banking platforms is advantageous, but practical transformation leadership matters most.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional workstreams for core banking transformation, platform modernisation and migrations.
• Advise clients on target-state capabilities, operating models and transformation roadmaps.
• Translate requirements into functional designs, user journeys and delivery priorities for tech teams.
• Provide banking domain knowledge across deposits, lending and related solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with business, operations, product, architecture and vendor teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams focusing on delivery quality, risk control and stakeholder engagement.
