Job summary
aikit pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of InstaChef smart vending machines and related equipment.
The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdown recovery, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and collaboration with operations to deploy, upgrade, and service machines across multiple locations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Automation.
- 4–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in equipment/automation environments.
- Basic knowledge of PLC and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and recover machines to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and corrective repairs per schedule.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and basic automation faults and fix them.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify reliability and safety improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Support machine installation, upgrades, testing, and software/hardware changes.
- Provide technical support to operations for machine issues and coordinate with teams.
- Address on-site technical issues with timely resolutions.
- Coordinate deployment and maintenance schedules with internal teams.
- Provide basic customer support for machine-related inquiries.
- Support logistics, replenishment, and other operational activities as needed.
- Perform other technical duties as assigned.
