Job summary

SOON SENG FOOD INDUSTRY PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repair, maintenance and installation of electrical circuits and mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot to keep operations running and support routine maintenance schedules.

The role requires a Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least two years' experience in food manufacturing. Mandarin-speaking communication with staff is required; a Class 3 licence is a plus, and strong

Qualifications

Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years' experience in food/beverage manufacturing or related environment.
Possession of Class 3 driving licence will be advantageous.
Able to speak Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking employees.
Good problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Repair, maintenance and installation of electrical circuits and mechanical equipment.
Carry out troubleshooting to maintain equipment at operating levels.
Working knowledge of boiler system will be advantageous.
Carry out routine maintenance work on a timely basis.
Perform manual repairs when necessary.
Supervise maintenance work carried out by contractors.
Participate in test runs and commissioning.
Other duties as assigned.
