Job summary

Sinohydro-Singapore Engineering & Construction Joint Venture is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Engineer to lead and coordinate M&E works on site within a challenging underground construction environment. You will review drawings, supervise installation, and ensure compliance with project specs and Singapore regulations.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in M&E.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• At least 5 years supervision experience in M&E on construction sites for large projects.
• Experience in MRT/rail/underground infrastructure is advantageous.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise M&E works on site.
• Plan and monitor M&E activities against project schedules.
• Coordinate M&E interfaces with Civil, Structural and other disciplines.
• Review drawings, submissions, method statements and material submissions.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, subcontractors and relevant authorities.
• Resolve technical, design and site coordination issues.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, quality and compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications and Singapore regulations.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior M&E Engineer with strong technical knowledge and hands-on site experience to lead and coordinate M&E works within challenging large -scale underground construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• lead, coordinate and supervise M & E works on site

• plan and monitor m&e activities against project schedules and milesontes

• Coordinate M&E interfaces with Civil, Structural , Architectural ad other disciplines

• Review drawings, technical submissions, method statements and material submissions

• liaise with LTA, consultants, QPS , subcontractors and relevant authorities

• Resolve technical, design and site coordination issues

• Monitor subcontractor progress, quality and compliance

• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities

• Ensure works comply with project specifications, safety requirements and applicable Singapore regulations

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in M & E

• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experiences

• at least 5 years of supervision experience in M&E works at construction sites for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work

• Experience in MRT, rail, underground infrastructure is highly advantageous

• Strong M& E coordination, installation , testing and commissioning knowledge

• Strong problem solving, communication and coordination skills

• Able to work independently and effectively in a fast paced site environment
