Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Singapore seeks a Senior Fire Safety Manager to lead the M&E team and oversee the maintenance of critical building systems in a high-rise mixed-development. You will manage budgets, annual plans, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with safety and local regulations.

You will coordinate with tenants, government agencies and vendors, drive maintenance policies, and supervise project works to uphold service excellence and reliability.

Qualifications

• Senior Fire Safety Manager - degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3–5 years, or Diploma in Building Services/ Mechanical/ Electrical with 5–8 years.
• Experience in managing high-rise commercial buildings or mixed developments.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance, fit-out practices and local ordinances.
• Experience formulating/implementing maintenance policies and capital works projects.
• Independent, proactive, with integrity and resourcefulness.
• Strong organization, problem solving and communication skills.
• Managerial experience essential; ability to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&E team to deliver maintenance and operations for systems (Electrical, ACMV, Lighting, Generators, AV, Fire Protection, Elevators/Esclators, Telecommunication, Kitchen Exhaust, Grease Interceptor, Wi-Fi).
• Plan, monitor, and budget maintenance activities and contractor work.
• Review tenant fit-out applications and prepare proposals for client approval.
• Prepare monthly reports and ensure service standards and KPIs are met.
• Coordinate tender processes and collaborate with other departments.
