SINGAPORE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an M&E Site Engineer to oversee on-site progress, installation quality and coordination with suppliers, consultants and clients.

The role focuses on ensuring drawings, submissions and schedules are followed to deliver projects on time. You will evaluate works for compliance with specifications, manage QA/QC inspections, produce service drawings, and maintain inspection records.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or any Engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical trades.
• Understanding of local codes/regulations for M&E services and safety.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive and collaborative.

Responsabilités

• Control site progress and installation quality per shop drawings and schedule to ensure on-time completion.
• Appraise works/products for conformity to specifications and provide selection recommendations.
• Coordinate M&E drawings; produce CSD and ensure quality of service drawings.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections; manage RE, RTO and clear inspections to meet schedule.
• Maintain all site inspection and T&C records up to date.
• Liaise with Consultants, Architects and Clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Control site progress and installation quality as per the approved shop drawings, technical submissions and equipment / material procurement / fabrication / delivery schedule for on time completion
• Appraisal for works / products compliance to specifications / requirements and selection recommendation
• Responsible for M&E drawing coordination, production of CSD and individual service drawings quality
• Responsible for conducting QA / QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA / QC inspections to meet with construction schedule
• Provide and maintain all site inspection records and T&C records up to date
• Liaise and follow up closely with Consultant, Architects and Clients

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or any Engineering field
• Good technical knowledge in mechanical & electrical trades
• Good knowledge of local codes / regulation knowledge pertaining to M&E services, building construction and safety
• Time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage particular tasks
• Independent, resourceful, pro active and team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly
