Job summary

Thiam Building Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E professional to lead MEP subcontractors and liaise with consultants on healthcare projects. You will monitor progress, prepare method statements, manage drawings and technical submissions, coordinate procurement and fabrication, and oversee QA/QC inspections to ensure on-time completion.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years' experience in Singapore's building

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in healthcare projects preferred.
Minimum 8 years' work experience in Singapore building/construction.
Strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
Good coordination with site teams to execute work.
Experience in design and build is an advantage.
AutoCAD experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor project progress and report to project manager.
Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies.
Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, supervision and documentation.
Control progress of RFAs, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical submissions for on-time completion.
Ensure MEP drawing management and filing on site.
Coordinate with client's representatives, consultants and subcontractors on technical matters.
Oversee QA/QC inspections and maintain records to meet construction schedule.
Participate in project meetings and resolve technical issues with records.
