Job summary

GS Engineering & Construction Corp Singapore is seeking a seasoned M&E Site Coordinator to lead coordination of mechanical and electrical works on building projects. You will review drawings, resolve on-site issues, and ensure works align with specifications and schedule.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least five years of Main Contractor experience. You will liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the Project Director to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by PE board.
• Minimum 5 years working experience on building projects in a Main Contractor Construction Firm.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, independent, team player and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E works with consultants and sub-contractors to resolve technical/site issues.
• Attend site meetings with consultants.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
• Inform Project Director/Project Manager on any technical site problems pertaining to M&E works.
• Supervise the progress of M&E works on site.
• Coordinate subcontractor’s M&E works and ensure work is on schedule.
• Prepare shop and as-built drawings.
• Obtain client’s requirements and conduct site surveys.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of M&E works.
• Conduct handover inspection with client.
