Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead luxury hotel and casino interiors, ensuring design excellence and compliance with project briefs. You will manage design consultants, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain schedules to deliver high-end environments.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in hospitality interior design, strong knowledge of space planning, FFE, materials, and regulations.

Qualifications

Degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in luxury hotel / casino projects.
Solid experience in handling luxury interior design projects.
Experience in Hospitality Interior Design incl. space planning, FFE, materials.
Knowledge of building regulations related to interior construction.
Design team structures and consultant practices.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Casino design knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage design consultants and the design process to ensure design excellence and quality.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop design scope-of-works.
Advise on interior design aspects, space planning, aesthetics, and FF&E.
Monitor progress and report to senior management on interior design work.
Work with consultants across project stages to ensure practical, durable designs within budgets.
Monitor design schedule, progress of consultants, and identify clashes.
Coordinate with project site team to ensure timely deliverables.
Review contractor materials, sample submissions, and ID shop drawings.
Ensure alignment of construction documents with design concept.
