Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking an Executive Director of Interior Design to elevate luxury design across the portfolio. You will lead strategic planning, oversee major CAPEX initiatives, and collaborate with consultants and internal teams to deliver award‑winning interiors that align with brand standards.

The role requires extensive global experience in luxury resorts or large mixed‑use developments, with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive complex projects

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited interior design or architecture program.
• 20+ years global experience in luxury resort or large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Experience in Integrated Resort design including space planning, FF&E, materials.
• Experience managing teams and complex projects.
• Experience in large-scale Integrated Resorts and/or regulated casino environments preferred but not critical.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on elevating Design Excellence and luxury design through successful project deliverables within the business portfolio.
• Support all business units and collaborate with consultants for Design Excellence and CAPEX initiatives.
• Manage new project planning, due diligence and long-range CAPEX, maintain CAPEX tools and space planning/design initiatives.
• Ensure design, operations and technical assessments meet global standards and brand requirements.
• Drive CAPEX planning, create RFPs, and manage consultant contracts; mentor partners and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Global VP of Interior Design and SVP of Global Interior Design to align on design strategy.
