Job summary

Citi's Equities Technology organization in APAC is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and deliver Citi's next-gen low-latency execution platform for the APAC region, covering Algorithmic Trading, Smart Order Routing, connectivity, and market data processing.

You will collaborate with traders, quants, and product teams, contribute to testing frameworks, CI/CD, and platform monitoring, and help drive agile practices in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Java and/or C#.
• Experience developing automated trading platforms.
• Python knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of automated testing techniques.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain the high-performance, low-latency electronic execution platform.
• Product Collaboration: Partner with traders, quants, and clients to translate needs into product features.
• Testing: Improve and maintain testing frameworks, tools, and environments.
• Agile & CI/CD: Contribute to Agile development practices and CI/CD processes.
• Platform Support & Enhancement: Build and maintain monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery solutions.
