Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer for the APAC Equities Electronic Trading team in Singapore. You will design, develop, and deliver Citi’s next-gen low-latency execution platform, including algorithmic trading and smart order routing, with close alignment to global strategy.

You will collaborate with traders, quants, and clients, enhance testing frameworks, and champion Agile and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable operation across the trading system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with strong technical knowledge and expertise in Java and/or C#.
• Proven experience developing automated trading platforms.
• Python knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of automated testing techniques.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain the high-performance, low-latency electronic execution platform.
• Product Collaboration: Partner with traders, quant researchers, and clients to translate needs into features.
• Testing: Improve and maintain testing frameworks and development tools.
• Agile & CI/CD: Champion Agile practices and CI/CD processes.
• Platform Support & Enhancement: Build solutions for monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery.
