Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Director-level Sales Trader for APAC Cash Equity Execution in Singapore. The role focuses on delivering advanced algorithmic trading solutions and performance analysis for top clients, collaborating with coverage and product teams to drive growth across execution channels.

You will develop analytics, optimize execution tools, and publish market insights to strengthen client relationships and monetization opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in equity execution or related fields.
• Strong technical and quantitative skills with client engagement experience.
• Deep knowledge of equity trading, APAC markets and market microstructure.
• Experience with algorithmic trading and liquidity venues.
• Familiarity with ML methods, clustering, factor modeling, statistics.
• Proven client relationships with institutional clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; negotiation skills.
• Fluency in additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to implement customized algo trading solutions.
• Provide Algo Execution & Liquidity product performance analysis and research across APAC.
• Design, implement, and optimize trading solutions to improve Citi’s execution performance.
• Publish content on equity trading topics to engage clients and market Citi’s products.
• Develop execution analytics and models to support client requests and new product ideas.
