This hands-on role will involve developing and optimising high‑performance components, market data infrastructure, order management and execution gateways, working with traders and quants to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Strong modern C++ development experience.
• Experience in capital markets or electronic trading environments.
• Experience developing low-latency or high-performance distributed systems.
• Knowledge of electronic trading platforms and market data infrastructure.
• Experience with market data feeds, order management systems, trading gateways, or exchange connectivity or event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and performance optimisation.
• Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent system development.
• Linux development experience.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and enhance high-performance C++ applications supporting electronic trading activities.
• Build and maintain low-latency market data and execution platforms.
• Develop components supporting order lifecycle management and execution workflows.
• Support quantitative analysts and traders by implementing trading logic and performance enhancements.
• Work with front-office stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of market data distribution systems.
• Enhance exchange connectivity, order gateways and market data interfaces.
• Improve latency, throughput, resilience and operational performance across trading applications.
• Participate in platform enhancements, proofs-of-concepts and technical design discussions.
• Investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis for trading platform incidents.
• Contribute to software quality through code reviews, automated testing and performance benchmarking.
