Job summary

BEN LINE AGENCIES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to act as the main customer contact. You will arrange import/export freight by sea, air, or land, verify cargo documents and coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.

You will monitor activities against approved paperwork, provide daily updates, liaise with customs and authorities, and ensure costs stay within contracted terms. Strong MS Office skills and five years in freight forwarding are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business or engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail for lengthy freight projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main customer contact throughout project or shipment.
• Arrange and coordinate freight with vendors, networks, and authorities.
• Provide customers with verification on duties, taxes, permits, or requirements.
• Attend pre-ops meetings with customer, vendors, and authorities.
• Ensure approved paperwork (PO, SLI, charge code, work order) is provided.
• Provide IL reference numbers to administration and colleagues.
• Monitor cost outlay and alert management if credit limits are exceeded.
• Update customers daily with activity reports and chase invoices.
• Coordinate with IL offshore and 3rd party vendors for cargo operations.
• Coordinate with warehousing to register and document cargo movements.
• Provide management with updated activity reports for customer accounts.
• Deliver completed activity reports upon work completion and verify invoices.
