Job summary

Nomura in Singapore is seeking a Loans Operations VP to lead the Asia Ex-Japan secured and private credit operations, focusing on lifecycle management, controls, and governance. The role acts as the face-off between trading and stakeholders, driving efficiencies and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in loan operations, strong stakeholder management, and experience with Loan IQ and private credit documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience supporting loan products.
• Experience in syndicated loans, bilateral lending, agency servicing and loan products.
• Working knowledge of trade documentation for private credit (LMA/APLMA).
• Prior experience with Loan IQ.
• Strong stakeholder communication with confidence to challenge and elevate appropriately.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage operational risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end loan operations life cycle and controls to ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Manage portfolio activity, pipeline and volume to size capacity and resources.
• Validate deal documentation and system setup to capture risks correctly.
• Provide trade support across products and liaise with Front Office and stakeholders to ensure smooth settlement.
