Job summary

UNIPEC SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced senior leader to drive the LNG business strategy, commercial performance and operational execution. The role requires coordinating with headquarters, group entities and senior stakeholders while leading a cross-functional LNG team.

The individual will oversee trading activities, portfolio management, and risk controls, ensuring alignment with group policies and energy security objectives across international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Extensive experience in energy trading and commercial operations, with LNG exposure.
• Proven experience in trading risk management and P&L oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership across multiple functions and international markets.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in reading Chinese-language business documents and preparing reports in Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead LNG business strategy, development, management and performance within delegated authority.
• Provide leadership for LNG planning, commercial activities, supply portfolio management and execution of key LNG initiatives.
• Oversee LNG trading activities, including physical and paper trading, contract negotiations and portfolio optimization.
• Ensure governance, risk controls and compliance across LNG operations with senior stakeholders.
• Lead the LNG team and coordinate with HQ, Group entities and international markets.
• Present updates to the Board and Senior Management and drive decision making.
