Job summary

Unipec Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a senior leader to helm its LNG business, reporting to the General Manager and sitting on the Senior Management Team. You will shape strategy, oversee planning, trading and commercial activities, and drive delivery against supply and financial targets.

The role requires extensive LNG market experience, strong leadership across functions and international interfaces, and the ability to manage risk in a complex, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in energy trading and commercial operations, including exposure to LNG markets and operations.
• Proven experience in trading risk management, P&L oversight, contract management and commercial decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving business strategy, managing teams and delivering commercial objectives across multiple functions and international markets.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning, problem-solving and stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Proficiency in reading Chinese-language business documents and preparing professional reports in Chinese when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the strategic development, management and performance of Unipec Singapore’s LNG business.
• Provide leadership for LNG business planning, commercial activities, supply portfolio management and execution of key LNG initiatives.
• Lead long/medium/short-term LNG strategies, including annual delivery planning and capacity optimization.
• Direct stakeholder alignment across Headquarters, international markets and Group entities on LNG planning and priorities.
• Identify market opportunities and oversee LNG trading activities, including physical and paper trading and contract negotiations.
• Be accountable for LNG portfolio performance, departmental P&L, supply-demand targets and risk exposure.
• Lead development and execution of supply strategies and delivery plans to fulfill contractual obligations.
• Manage cross-functional teams and governance to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory obligations.
