Job summary
Expleo Group in Singapore seeks an experienced Life Insurance Business Analyst with 8-12 years in the domain to drive requirements, BRD/FRD artifacts, and user stories for protection/term/shield products. You will partner with stakeholders and IT to deliver end-to-end policy lifecycle improvements, PAS experiences, and regulatory-compliant solutions.
The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with BRD/FRD, UAT, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years experience as Life Insurance BA
- Strong experience with Life Insurance Protection / Term Insurance / Shield products
- Good understanding of the end-to-end Life Insurance policy lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of life insurance product features, business rules, underwriting, premium processing, policy servicing, and claims
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements
- Hands-on experience preparing BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Experience working with business stakeholders and technology/development teams
- Experience in SIT/UAT and defect management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working on new product development or product enhancements
- Knowledge of Life Insurance product configuration/rating engines
- Exposure to policy administration systems (PAS)
- Experience with insurance platforms such as eBAO, Life/Policy Administration platforms, or equivalent
- Understanding of Actuarial/product pricing concepts
- Exposure to regulatory/compliance-driven changes in the insurance industry
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and management for Life Insurance initiatives
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver solutions
- Create BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows with acceptance criteria
- Support SIT/UAT and defect management activities
- Explain complex insurance concepts to stakeholders and ensure alignment
- Assist in product development or enhancements within Life Insurance domain
