Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior corporate/commercial lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience to support data centre development projects.

You will draft and negotiate complex documents, perform due diligence on land and permits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery. The role requires excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory abilities, with a focus on corporate, securities, privacy, and real estate law.

Qualifications

• LLB degree from a reputable university in a common law jurisdiction.
• Qualified to practise law in Singapore; experience in other common law jurisdictions is a plus.
• At least 7 years of PQE.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents across the data centre development lifecycle, including land, MOUs, NDAs, and various contracts.
• Conducting thorough legal due diligence on land, title, zoning, permits and related matters to identify risks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, construction, procurement, finance, sales, compliance) to support project delivery.
• Assisting Head of Legal with templates, playbooks, signing matrix and KYC/sanctions processes.
• Providing legal advice on corporate, securities, privacy, IP and other laws relevant to daily operations.
• Managing corporate housekeeping, entity management and investor documentation; liaising with external law firms and consultants.
