Job summary

Larson Maddox is assisting a fast-growing technology and digital infrastructure group seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead commercial and regulatory matters for data centre projects in Singapore and across SE Asia.

You will draft and negotiate EPC, construction, leases and service agreements, while advising on risk and compliance. The role requires breadth across real estate, energy, and procurement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent; Bar qualification.
• 8+ years of legal experience, including 2-3 years in data centres or related infrastructure.
• Experience in data centres, infrastructure, construction/EPC, real estate and leasing, energy, procurement, technology or outsourcing.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements relating to development, construction and operation of data centres across Singapore, Malaysia and SE Asia.
• Advise on EPC and construction contracts, procurement and equipment supply agreements, leases, services and interconnection arrangements.
• Lead negotiations with contractors, vendors, landlords, customers and service providers while balancing commercial priorities with legal/regulatory risk.
• Partner with project development, construction, procurement and operations teams throughout the data centre lifecycle.
