Job summary

Sunline Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned Software and Applications Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise financial and banking system solutions.

You will manage cross-functional teams and guide architecture, security, and performance to deliver scalable applications. The role requires 5–8 years in software development with at least 2 years in leadership, and strong Java/SQL and API integration experience within banking domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8 years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead role.
• Strong experience in enterprise application development, preferably banking or financial systems.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, or related technologies.
• Experience with system architecture design, microservices, and API integration.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise applications in the banking and financial services domain.
• Manage and mentor a team of software developers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Design system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security compliance.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to define technical solutions.
• Oversee application integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancement and digital transformation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic direction for resolution.
