Job summary

Housing & Development Board seeks a motivated Land Surveyor to support Singapore’s public housing developments. You will apply land surveying and geomatics expertise across the project life cycle, collaborating with Registered Surveyors, planners, architects and engineers to deliver surveying inputs using 3D LiDAR, GNSS/RTK, mobile mapping and related digital reality-capture solutions.

Qualifications

• Good background in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Geodesy, or a related geomatics/geospatial discipline.
• Preferably with 2–4 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of cadastral, engineering or construction surveying is advantageous.
• Familiarity with advanced geomatics technologies and digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise land survey works undertaken by Registered Surveyors appointed by HDB.
• Provide technical and surveying input to planners, architects, engineers and project teams.
• Resolve survey-related issues affecting planning, design and implementation of HDB developments.
• Liaise with government agencies on cadastral, strata, land and survey matters.
• Support survey activities across the development lifecycle including topographical surveys and as-built verification.
• Lead pilots involving 3D LiDAR, GNSS/RTK, mobile mapping and other reality-capture tech.
• Evaluate new surveying methodologies and digital workflows to enhance quality and productivity.
• Review and manage survey datasets including 3D point clouds for downstream applications.
• Develop and improve survey standards, specifications and quality-control processes.
