Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the design, development and implementation of application changes within defined timeframes. You will perform peer reviews to ensure high-quality code across NEMS systems and work closely with the Applications team and business users to maximise benefits while maintaining security and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree (IT) or Equivalent Formal Training.
• Strong applications development experience with at least 8 years of development work experience with J2EE, Java, Angular, SpringBoot, REST API, Oracle DB 19C, WebLogic/JBoss and related tech.
• Experience with application security throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement changes to applications within agreed timeframes and standards.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality of code in NEMS systems.
• Collaborate with Applications team and business users to maximise benefits in a cost-effective, secure, and risk-free manner.
• Provide assessments on impact and risk of potential changes to systems and business.
• Create concise, detailed system specifications for changes and implement them.
• Follow change and version control processes to ensure auditable, quality changes.
• Offer best-practise recommendations and streamline manual tasks into automation.
• Provide application support to Operations as needed.
