PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java/Linux developer to design, develop and implement changes to NEMS systems. You will perform peer reviews, collaborate with the Applications team and business users, and assess impact and risk of proposed changes.

You will create detailed specifications and adhere to strict change and version control processes while proposing best practices and automation to streamline tasks across projects.

Formación

• Strong applications development experience with Java/J2EE and related frameworks.
• Experience with security throughout the development lifecycle and best practices.
• Ability to talk to users, understand requirements and deliver complete solutions.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish and working within change control.

Responsabilidades

• The design, development and implementation of applications related changes to agreed timeframes and standards.
• Peer code reviews to ensure code quality in NEMS systems.
• Work with Applications team and business users to maximize benefits in a cost-effective, secure and risk-free manner.
• Provide assessments on impact and risk of changes to systems and business.
• Create detailed system specifications and implement changes to specs.
• Follow change and version control processes for auditable changes.
• Offer best-practise recommendations and suggest automation to reduce manual tasks.
• Provide application support to the Operations team when necessary.
